DIPLOMA IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION (D.PEd) D.PEd is a two year course wherein teacher are trained to become Physical Education teacher in Primary Schools. A :- Eligibility Criteria - Should have passed two year PUC with a minimum of 45% marks
- Should have studied Kannada or English as one of the languages at least up to 10th standard
- Candidates who has passed the higher Secondary / PUC Vocational Educational Course / Diploma or any other job oriented course or with physically handicapped shall not be eligible for admission.
B:- Selection Process - 50% of PUC performance in terms of percentage:- 50 marks
- Written test: 50 marks
- Physical fitness:- 50 marks
- Sports (upto PUC only) - 50 marks
C:- Colleges recognised by NCTE
D:- Admission Procedure
- Students selection is under the chairmainship of D.I.E.T Principal
- Ratio: 80% - Kannadigas and 20% - Non-Kannadigas
E:- Approval of admission - Students admission is approved by D.I.E.T Principal
F:- Time of Examination :- - Practical Exam : September
- Theory Exams - October
