1.	Online Submission of Admission Form through NIOS Website - Online Admission for all Learners (stream -1)	1st Block - 1st March 2010 to 31st August, 2010 2nd block - 1st September, 2010 to 28th Feb. 2011
2.	Online Admission for learners wanting to appear in October - Nov. 2009 Examination - stream 2	25th May 2010 to 20th July 2010
	Online Admission for learners wanting to appear in On Demand Examination system (ODES) of NIOS for Secondary level (stream 3)	Throughout the Year
	Online Admission for learners wanting to appear in On Demand Examination System (ODES) of NIOS for Sr. Secondary Level (Stream 4)	Throughout the year
3.	Registration for Public Examination Note : Registration for Public Examination for Online Admissions will only be alongwith Online admission under Stream 2, 3 & 4.	First Public Examination - April - May Examination 1. 16th December to 31st December October - November Examination 1. 16th June to 30th June
4.	Result Declaration	8-10 weeks after the last paper is over. Results are made available at respective AI as well as on the NIOS Web-site.
5.	Change of subject/Registration for Additional subject	For April-May Examination - 1st July to 15th SeptemberFor October - November Examination- 1st January to 15th March
6.	Re-checking of Answer Scripts	within 30 days from the declaration of Result of Examination.

NIOS/Procedure for correction in the Admission Records /2011

Procedure for correction in the Admission Records

• The Admission to a particular course is normally confirmed by NIOSby issuing an Identity Card having details of learner's admission particulars as per the recordavailable in NIOS.

• In case of any discrepency in Name or Fname or Mname or DOB or Address or photo etc. , kindly apply for correction at your study centre or at the concerned Regional Centre along with the documentary proof.

• In case if you notice the discrepency after your result has been declared and you have been issued the passing documents (Mark sheet, Migration or Provisional Certificate),kindly apply for correction at your study centre or at the concerned Regional Centre along with the documentary proof and the documents (Mark sheet, Migration or Provisional Certificate or final certificate) with incorrect details issued to you by NIOS.

• Kindly note that the revised corrected documents will be issued only if you have submitted the documents (Mark sheet, Migration or Provisional Certificate or final certificate) with incorrect details issued to you by NIOS along with your application.

NIOS/Change of Subject/Additional Subject/2011

Change of Subject/Additional Subject

During the admission period of five years, you can change one or more subject(s), provided the total number of subjects does not exceed seven. However, such a change is permissible within four years of your registration, so that you can appear in Public Examinations within the validity period of admission. No change/addition of subjects will be allowed for the first examinationi.e., April-May 2008 examination. Subject(s) passed cannot be changed.

For change of subject/additional subject, you are required to submit your application on plain paper to the concerned Regional Centre of the NIOS through your AI along with the prescribed fee as given below for all categories of learners:

For Secondary Course Rs. 90/- per subject

For Senior Secondary Course Rs. 120/- per subject

The fee should be paid through a Bank Draft drawn in favour of “Secretary, NIOS” payable at the concerned Regional Centre. No application in this regard will be accepted in the NIOS Headquarters at Delhi. The concerned Regional Centre of NIOS will confirm such change or addition of subjects at your mailing address under intimation to your AI.
