Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board. /KARNATAKA OPEN SCHOOL EXAMS (KOS) /2011

KARNATAKA OPEN SCHOOL EXAMS (KOS) Karnataka Open School exam is a unique exam conducted by the board in order to bring back school dropouts and underprivileged students who were unable to attend school during their school going age. This system was started in Karnataka in the year 2000 under the guidelines of National Institute of Open Schooling. A :- Eligibility Criteria Should be 14 years and above: Should have passed atleast 5th Standard B:- Time of Examination Twice a year May and November C:- Fees Rs. 75/- per subject D:- Institution through which this course can be opted : Any NGO organisation with special attention to this children Approval by JSS KOS centre Mysore Note :- As on date the above exam in not given parity with SSLC exams. However, candidates who pass this exam are eligible for admission to university course.
